Elenora Schulze, 97, of Yorktown, passed away Wednesday May 18, 2016 in Tupelo, Miss. She was born April 8, 1919 in DeWitt County to the late August and Nathalie Landgrebe Sievers. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She married Liebert Schulze at St. Paul Lutheran Church on July 20, 1941.
She is survived by her daughter Carol (Normie) Buehring, daughter-in-law Betsy Schulze, grandchildren Leigh Ann (Toby) Kennedy, Jason (Chastity) Buehring, Denise Schulze and Nathan (Kim) Buehring. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Mitchell, Katie and Brayden Kennedy, Courtney Schulze, Aaron Saunders, Hunter Loos, Zach Buehring, Allie Blackwood and Caine Buehring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Liebert Schulze, son Marvin Schulze, sister Cora Afflerbach and brother Roland Sievers.
Visitation is from 12:30-2 p.m., Saturday May 21 at Massey Funeral Home. Service is at 2 p.m., Saturday May 21 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment to follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials can be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Yorktown Volunteer Fire Department.
Pallbearers will be Toby Kennedy, Jason Buehring, Aaron Saunders, Nathan Buehring, Harlan Afflerbach and Sonny Powell.
