Regina Kortz Broll, 89, of Yorktown, passed away July 12, 2016. She was born Sept. 27, 1926, in Helena, Texas, to the late Leo and Julia Moy Kortz.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank B. Broll; daughter, Mary Jane Broll; and brothers, Conrad, Anton and Johnny Kortz.
She is survived by her children, Fred Broll (Ruby), James Broll (Lynette), Anne Spies (Gordon), and Elaine Alex (David); 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 11 great-great- grandchildren; brothers, Vincent Kortz (Betty), Aloys Kortz (Norma), and Edward Kortz; sisters, Florence Warzecha, Justine Drapalla and Rosie Craig.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Friday, July 15, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 16, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Roger Hawes officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Building Fund or charity of donor’s choice.
