Dorothy A. Koenig, 75, of Victoria, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was born Nov. 6, 1940 in Cuero to the late James K. Arnold and Mary E. Forster Arnold. She retired from the Women’s Clinic in Victoria and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hoffman (Jay) of College Station; Mickey DeDear (Scott) of Victoria; sons, Jimmy Koenig and Johnny Koenig (Wendi), all of Victoria; sisters, Anna Frers (Mike), Mary Arnold (Terry Stock), Susie Dreyer (Jerry), Chrissie West (Kenneth), all of Cuero; and seven grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Koenig; daughter, Dienne “De De” Koenig and brother, Kenny Arnold.
The family will hold a visitation on Tuesday, April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, Victoria. A rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13 followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will be held 2 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero.
Memorial may be made to the Texas Lions Camp.
