
Bobby Fagg, 83, of Meyersville passed away on April 7, 2016. He was born on Jan. 5, 1933 in Williamson County to the late Halbert and Mildred (Simmons) Fagg. He served in the US Army from April 30, 1953 to April 11, 1955 during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Nissen Germany. He then was in the Army Reserves for four years. After discharge from the service he worked in the oil field and later worked as a millwright at Alcoa where he retired as millwright supervisor for Alcoa after 30 years. He coached little league, enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, repairing boat motors, rods and reels and doing general repair work on lawnmowers, tractors and cars.
He is survived by his wife Beatrice Fagg of Meyersville and son Kevin (Carrie) Fagg of Goliad. Grandchildren Abigayle and Brady Fagg of Goliad.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 11 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service was at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at St. John Lutheran Church in Meyersville. Interment followed at St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
